ktorrent shows no activity, all seems normal, but no action  Topic is solved

I keep ktorrent running 24/7, really only check it when I start new download. Today I find it has been inactive for maybe 3 days. Currently I am trying to download 4 files, between them there are 140 seeds and peers showing, but all in ( ), which I assume means that they are online, but not running their torrent app. That doesn't seem likely for all 140 of them.

And usually I am uploading to at least 5 or 6 peers, often more. There is no uploading at all, and hasn't been since I last checked ktorrent 3 days ago.

All of my torrents are healthy, I've tried stopping and force start on each of the downloads, no effect. I've shut down and restarted ktorrent, my ports are open, and the only things that seem doubtful in ktorrent's log is that there are a lot of messages like so:-

OK, problem solved. I had to shut down the system and restart, and ktorrent took off normally. But who knows why.
