Hi,

What is the difference pause, stop and suspend in Ktorrent? Pause and suspend sound similar and I don't know what stop would mean in a torrent because torrent is just certain bit of information and stop refers to starting over which isn't how torrents work. You pause and resume a torrent.

Thanks.

Suspend stops all the torrents. I think it is called Suspend Torrents, so it doesn't control only the selected torrents.

Pause appears to leave you connected to the trackers, but just not download anything.

Stop disconnects from the trackers.

1. Okay suspend sounds like a usability nightmare. If you are stopping all torrents just say "Stop All Torrents."

1. What is the benefit of remaining connected to trackers and not downloading? In what conditions I should I make decision of Pausing or Stopping? I don't think any other torrent client uses this paradigm.

Thanks.
