Im trying to run ktorrent within a bash script like this:
sudo -u User bash -c 'nohup ktorrent > /dev/null 2>&1 &' but the script has to run with sudo When i try running it as this: nohup ktorrent > /dev/null 2>&1 & within the script, then it will start it up as root instead of my logged in User (because the script was originally run with sudo) It should work with my first cmd above. Ive tried other apps using the first cmd above and it runs with the specified user. But with ktorrent for some reason it doesnt. Any help would be appreciated. |
