Ktorrent do not give the tun0 network interface option visible while the vpn is off. I can only select it when I turn on the vpn!
When it gets disconnected the download will pause but after a while will start again without protection...
Is there a way to add the tun0 network interface option in ktorrent settings?

Yes. There's a way. Change your VPN provider. *link removed by moderator* for example goes without tun0 issues.

Swell! But what happen if the VPN goes off? Will you stay anonymous? since the process will continue without it...

I will venture to say the option in Ktorrent is broken. Not working for me here, but is working using qbittorrent.
