Hello all,

I use Ktorrent 5.1.0 on Opensuse Leap 42.3. If I set "search torrents" module active, Ktorrent doesnt respond anymore and I have to kill the process.
Is there a way to fix it?

I've been having this same issue ever since Ubuntu 18.04.

How I'm getting this to happen is, after loading the program, I click on "plugins", scroll down to search, put a check mark on to search, and this is where the program hangs.

I have let the program sit there for hours and still nothing happens. Thus i have to kill9 or terminate the program or reboot. I would have hoped over the years some how it would have gotten fixed, but it still hasn't been fixed.

I'm wondering if i'm the only one or if something else is going on with Ubuntu/Kubuntu. I'm currently running the latest version of kubuntu 20.04 fully updated as i type this.
