How to create project in kate

Sun Oct 06, 2013 7:16 pm
I looked at this kate tutorial on how to create projects in kate.
So I created a c++ project called: cproject.kateproject in the folder cproject and the contents of cproject.kateproject are:
Code: Select all
{
  "name": "cproject"
, "files": [ { "directory": "cproject", "filters": ["*.cpp", "*.h"], "recursive": 1 } ]
}

I could not figure out how to import the project (I went into kate projects tab and clicked refresh, but nothing showed up).
I think I am not understanding the guide correctly, can someone help?

Please see the second part of that article, titled "2. Switching Projects". Kate automatically detects projects when opening files in the same project.
