Kate network folder missing

Sun Jan 24, 2016 7:26 pm
I'm running ubuntu/unity but have installed konqueror and kate. In Konqueror I create a network folder to a remote server using fish. I can browse the files on konqueror, right click and select 'open with kate', and kate loads it up fine. But if I do a file/open in kate, there is no network folder present. Is there something I need to install to get kate to present a network folder in the file/open dialog?
