Kate Plugins in Python?

Hello,

I have read that the kde4 version of kate had the possibility to write plugins in python, is this planned for the kf5 version also (e.g. only waiting for pykf5)?

The feature is lying around somewhere. I'm not aware of anyone working on it. So no ETA or info whether it will be done at all, sorry :/

I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.
