Hi all, I am getting confused by the Kate behavior in split view:
(1) whenever I open a file, the tab shows up only on the active side of the split view;
(2) it seems there is no way to move a file from one side to the other;
(3) whenever I close a file, the tab disappears from both the sides of the split view;

I think the file opening behavior makes sense (why would I want a duplicate tab on the two sides of a split view?) but then it should be possible to move a tab across the splitter. But, under that premise, the closing file behavior is inconsistent.

Is there something I am getting wrong about how to use the software?
