Guys,
Kate ( With Fish via Konqueror ) has been great for me , especially for remote editing. However , It seems to be lacking highlting for typescript ? How do you guys use Kate for Angular JS / Ionix / Mobile Programming ? Anybody got TypeScript Syntax highlighting to work ? |

Probably not because there are plenty of other better editors for TypeScript.
Though as JS/TS gets used more for desktop applications I suspect that the set of users who would consider using Kate (or possibly even kdevelop) for such projects to increase. While I know that Kate uses syntax files for the various languages it supports, including a mechanism for updating those from the web somewhere, I'm not familiar with where they are stored or how to contribute new ones. (I'd hope that there is a resource on KDE Techbase or Kate's site or somewhere which goes over these syntax files and/or how to contribute new ones)

I have explored the typescript.xml syntax highlighting file at https://github.com/PrettyFlower/KateTyp ... ghlighting but it doesnt seem to be working with newer kate versions - note that it was last worked on in 2012. |

Read that - but I am not skilled enough to create my own xml file. |

I haven't done any TypeScript development yet, but we do have projects at our company using TS and/or Angular. As I've been able to observe, a lot of people use Visual Studio Code, Atom, or Sublime Text, possibly a few others.
