Hello everyone.
I have a suggestion: When generating code from UML diagrams, also generate methods body with some kind of visual language. I mean something that describes the method's flow/algorithm, so a generic graphic language (such as Blockly - https://developers.google.com/blockly , Limnor - https://github.com/DavidGeUSA/Limnor-Studio-Source-Code , or anything suitable) providing the building blocks for basic implementation (loops, conditionals, etc) and a "standard library" (such as file I/O, math functions, string manipulation, etc) providing what's in common across already supported languages (in example, C++, PHP, Java, etc) This has, IMHO, these advantages: 1) Less syntax errors 2) Less typing time spent 3) More beginner friendly 4) Code would be more readable at a glance Maybe there are more, which IDK ATM Thanks for any help, regards |
