Hello there!

I have a problem starting a program called "umbrello", package name kde4-umbrello, version 4.2.1-47.11

If I search for a packge using zypper I get this output:

if I run the umbrello from output I get:

So the package is installed from (System Packages) repository. And it's not from the newest one. "i" means installed, "v" second option.

So I wen't to remove the package: zypper rm kde4-umbrello
And install it from http://download.opensuse.org/repositori ... SUSE_11.1/ repository, which is stable repository for operatin system openSuse 11.1 like this: zypper in -r http://download.opensuse.org/repositori ... SUSE_11.1/ kde4-umbrello

So now if I search fro a package kde4-umbrello like zypper se -ds kde4-umbrello I get

As you can see now is installed from the KDE4 repository. But if I run it from shell all i get is:

And nothing happens is it running in a background... I dunno. Also If I click on a icon umbrello, it will just hang there and after that stopped. However process will remain untill I kill it: frojnd 5752 7.1 1.0 76108 21768 ? S 14:53 0:00 /usr/bin/umbrello -caption Umbrello

But still QT version is 4.3.3 and output is different now:

Still don't know what's the issue : Any bright ideas?

Might be a damaged configuration file. Can you reproduce under a new user?

PS: The version of kde4-umbrello is correct, KDE is currently at version 4.2, which is the version scheme followed by Umbrello I believe.

Wow, I've created a new user and start the newest version of Umbrello there and now after:

I can actually see the program

bcooksley, where are usually saved those settings so I can copy from the new user to old one.

P.S. Curren settigns that Umbrello works with the new user:
Qt: 4.4.3
KDE: 4.2.1 (KDE 4.2.1) "release 103"
Umbrello UML Modeller: 2.2.1

I've just deleted the file: rm /home/frojnd/.kde4/share/config/umbrellorc and now it works like a charm
