I recently upgraded from kde3 to kde4. I use Kate heavily for development work and I have a number of js katepart scripts that I developed for repetitive tasks to make things easier.
After upgrading to KDE 4.4.2 and Kate 3.4.2, no scripts are working anymore. I've upgraded my scripts based on some of the new requirements, but the default functions from the bundled utils.js give the same result, they all fail with "Command <command name here> Failed" Anyone have any tricks for getting scripting to work? |

I suggest you file a bug at bugs.kde.org, as the default scripts supplied should work.

Thanks, I did. It's resolved now, it looks like it was an issue with left over settings in my katepart settings directory from kde3.
