compiling KDE with kdesrc-build, master vs. 4.7?

Hi, I'm a newbie at git, svn, and compiling KDE, and my goal is to get a working KDE 4.7 on RHEL 6.1. I'm working my way thru the doc, and am now using kdesrc-build to extract and build 4.7. I'd be just as happy with a tarball of 4.7, but the docs all seem to be oriented to work on Trunk/Master.

My first problem is that I can't seem to get the 4.7 code with kdesrc-build. I've put "branch 4.7" as well as "branch 4.7-branch" in the global section. Many of the git package checkouts produce this error:

Error updating automoc, removing from list of packages to build.
> Unable to perform a git checkout of origin/4.7 to a local branch of origin-4.7 at ./kdesrc-build line 2460.

and later,

Building automoc (2/54)
Waiting for source code update.
Unable to update automoc, build canceled.

Then I changed the branch to "master" and automoc, among others, succeeds. But I only want the official 4.7, not trunk.

Incidentally, after changing "4.7" to "master", I also got several messages similar to:
Code: Select all
   !!
!! kdemultimedia seems to be checked out from somewhere other than expected.
   !!

   kdesrc-build expects: svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/branches/KDE/master/kdemultimedia
The module is actually from: svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/branches/KDE/4.7/kdemultimedia

If the module location is incorrect, you can fix it by either deleting the
source directory, or by changing to the source directory and running
     svn switch svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/branches/KDE/master/kdemultimedia

So it leaves me wondering if kdesrc-build works for anything other than "master" branch. If I'm barking up the wrong tree, please let me know. I'm going to next try just downloading the KDE 4.7 from http://kde.org/info/4.7.0.php (if I can figure out how to download all the tarballs at once without having to click on 30 links!)

Thanks in advance!

I would suggest sending an email to kde-devel@kde.org about this.
