Hi,
Probably a really stupid question... Just finally move from itunes and am really enjoying Amarok. I was playing with moving the different panes around and have messed them up completely. They are now no longer locked together and all appear over the top, or behind one another. Is there any way I can get them back to a better layout? Thanks! |

assuming W7 works like Linux make sure the panels are not locked (uncheck view -> lock layout) then drag the panels (left click on panel top, you'll see the panel title and a diamond and x to the the right) to where you want them then lock the layout

Thanks for that, that's how I thought it would work, but can't move panels in this way except the main window - this works on my Linux (Ubuntu) machine... could it be a small bug?
Would it work if I uninstalled, deleted all files and re-installed? Thanks. |

you could remove the Amarok rc files (in Linux there are 3, ) and restart the app, they would be somewhere in settings and documents (or whatever W7 calls it) but as I don't have it in Windows I can't be more specific. Don't know which of the 3 right now and have to run, you could post on the irc channel for the specific one

It's a known bug that the panel re-attaching doesn't behave properly in Windows. I'm not sure if this is something we can fix or upstream.
I believe the settings are in something like %APPDATA%/kde/share/config/, and there'll be three files starting with amarok and ending with rc to remove. |

Thanks for all the replies, that did the trick - I actually deleted the whole directory (.kde) from appdata and reinstalled the application from there. I have to use W7 for work but will be moving my collection to my Ubuntu machine!
