Hi. I downloaded Amarok 2.6 recently and my ipod isn't being detected at all. I have a 6th generation ipod classic, and I'm running windows 7. I deleted the itunes file on the ipod itself, but that had no effect. My ipod shows up in local media in settings in amarok, but that's all. Is there anything I can do to get Amarok to sync/detect my ipod?

I believe you need to have libgpod installed (look for it in your package manager) and then, you can turn on the ipod plugin in amarok. It should then appear as another collection, right under your local collection.

Can you clarify this? You're saying it shows up in amarok, but then you also say amarok doesn't detect it.
