Is this issue resolved or still not (for windows 7)? I have 100ds of CDs...

We use KIO audiocd:/ to get the metadata info of the loaded CD and hardware path for the drive. As far as I know the audiocd:/ KIO-slave is not working yet on windows, don't know if it ever will. Until such a time it's probably not a bad idea to rip those CD's to FLAC or a lossy format and play the files from harddisk. I would recommend doing that even if you were able to play the CD's directly
Is there a specific reason you absolutely want to play them directly? |
