In an effort to bring me into the 21st century the family got me a Nano 16G (7th generation) as a gift. I'm no Luddite - I just haven't found earbuds that will stay in. (*sigh* - I'm still looking.)
Anyway, while looking for non-iTunes managers I came across Amarok. I was looking to find a table listing Amarok versions with supported OS's and Nano firmware revisions but didn't find one. Did I miss a link? I can see Amarok is frequently updated, so I'm guessing this is a supported configuration. Can someone confirm? Thanks! |

Sorry, but if it is an iPod Nano 6g it is too new to be supported. Don't forget that due to the closed and obfuscated nature of Apple hardware it has to be painfully reverse-engineered, and libgpod doesn't list it as a supported device: http://www.gtkpod.org/wiki/Libgpod, see "Features"
Also we will be shipping Amarok 2.7 for Windows in a few days, keep an eye on the Amarok website to be notified. It all depends on the availability of our Window developer who is currently quite occupyed by real life.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Worse - its 7g. Oh well, I'll check back periodically.
Thanks! |
