I was advised to post this here, rather than on the bug tracker..

I am unable to download the portable Windows version

When I download this file, I get 260KB. If I download the other portable 7z files, I get 0 bytes. Replicated on multiple PCs at work as well as 2 home laptops on both IE9 and Firefox.

I've been advised that 2.5.0 is rather old, but that seems to be the most recent portable version available for download??

I can confirm the download issue on my system.
I have informed the maintainer of the winkde.org server of the issue.

I'm really not sure what you mean with "portable" version, but the 2.8 release for Windows is available right on that page.
