I have run into what are definitely 2 bugs and a usability issue. I have a large music collection (180,000 flac tracs) stored on a RAID5 array. When I tried to scan in the whole library Amarok stopped working. I then scanned it in piecemeal, about 10-15 K tracs per sample. THis worked for a while but then the library disappeared and the local storage suddenly showed 0 tracks. I tried again and got the same result. It works for a while and then the library disappears. This is bug #1. The other bug and maybe this is related is that Amarok spawns a whole pile of conhost processes. These do not terminate when the application is terminated and I have to manually terminate them.
The usability issue and this may be me is that when I try to use Internet radio everything shows up with 0 tracks available and does not play. |

Please file bugs in the bug tracker at http://bugs.kde.org, not in the forum. One issue per report only, please.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
