Hello I would like to ask a few questions about features I would like to see and am hoping are being implimented for the 2.0 edition.

I currently am using helium music manager on my windows systems since it has some features that are very important to me and would love to be able to switch to amarok some day since it is a far better product.

1) I can access the database (mysql on another computer) with multiple computers without any curruption. I was told if i did this with amarok i would run into curruption issues.

2) I also have my music on the same computer as mysql is on, and so the music is remote. It is shared using samba and with helium I can easily access this share without mounting it localy. With amarok I from what I know have to locally mount the music, causing the database to become very tied down. I have to have the share path being the same on all system in order for things to function correctly across multiple client computers. This will become impossible when I am mixing windows and linux (ubuntu) when amarok is ported to windows. It also makes it very challanging in linux (since i'm not that great with it) to map drives. to just be able to use the servers address and be done with it would be a feature I would love to have.

These are the two big things for me. if i could do these two things and from linux and windows i would never look back. My current music manager can do these things but can't be ran on linux and more importantly the "extra" features are nothing in comparison to what amarok has. your product really surpasses others.

any info would be great. Thanks for the time:) and if any of these things can be done with the current version that would be great.
