[SOLVED] Amarok not starting on Vista

cerebro84 Registered Member Posts 7 Karma 0	[SOLVED] Amarok not starting on Vista Tue Dec 11, 2007 4:50 pm I compiled everything with the emerge tool, but when it comes to run Amarok I can see its splash, and for some seconds also its main window, then it closes (only the tray icon stays, but when I pass over it disappears). Suggestions? It's a OS related problem? I tried to downgrade to 20071206 version when it was announced that is played music but it's the same. marcel Registered Member Posts 595 Karma 0 OS	Re: Amarok not starting on Vista Tue Dec 11, 2007 10:06 pm Just from reading your debug output: It says that the qtlib is not compatible with the KDE stuff you are running. Do you have the qtlib version installed KDE was built with?

Now there's another little bug... when I close the windows, it tells me it will stay in tray, but it's not true, cause it exits cleanly. But that's another story. THANKS FOR THE GREAT WORK! Even If I dind't try if it works at media player on windows yet
