I d/led kde for windows installed it on xp pro.
install went fine. started amarok. Ok in ubuntu when adding music you just go to the folder where music is it then loads all the mp3,s. but in xp this won,t work. all i have managed to do was load one mp3 at a time. in foobar you have option to add folder or directory this works. windoz see,s files diferently then linux. ok next bug. after adding the single mp3 file if you go to load another the tree to find files is back at root bin file. you need to have to open to last folder accessed. I,m allso unable to find where the streams are hidden in new amarok. ended up haveing to ctrl alt delete to kill it. but it does install and open. i only loaded 1 mp3 because at 7 clicks per mp3 x 10,000 more or less is not something i wish to undertake. but amarok on ubunto functions just fine, its not the newst one. listening to it now. now i will put the other kde apps on xp to a quick test and report bugs to where ever you would for the rest.... |
