Hi, when I open Amarok, it will take a lot of resources and time to start (it uses about 50 MB RAM immediately and takes almost a minute to start).
A window tells me that "There are exceptions caught in the script. Please refer to the log! (Librivox.org)" Now sometimes I can just click it away, but sometimes it will crash. In which folder can I find the crash report? Windows XP SP3 |

I've the same problem as you.
I'm writing a script for Amarok 2 in KDE 4.2 and this one works in Ubuntu and Debian. I wanted to test it on Windows XP, in a minimal virtual machine (only Windows XP SP3, no additionnal apps) with amarok installed using the msi tool. In this version, all scripts I've tested doesn't work and a message explain that there's some errors in the script. I think that scripts needs additionnal features as Amarok and this dependencies. Is it true?
Excuse my english.. please

As I know I won't be using Librivox, I did the following:
navigate to "C:\Program Files\KDE\share\apps\amarok\scripts" remove the folder titled "librivox_service" and back it up somewhere just in case. Amarok should now function happily. As I use Windows Vista 64 bit, I had to navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\KDE\share\apps\amarok\scripts" good fortune be with ye |
