Hi folks,

I would just like to read some news about what's going on with the Windows version of Amarok. I already searched a lot, but only could find small side notes that currently developers are missing ...but no real information?! To me it looks like there was no change in the version since August 2008. I am not complaining, it is just that I would like to read what is going on and maybe if nothing is going on I would like to read that also

You know what I mean?!
Currently I could not find out if amarok for windows is already given up or anything out of plan, are there further plans etc.?

I also want to take the chance to say that the windows version is already great. I used to use the linux version a lot during my time at university. My favorite feature is definitly the never ending playlist..oh I love it!! And since I use nowadays only windows systems I waited long time for the windows version also because to me no other (windows) player is comparable with amarok. I think, if the windows version would be stable and maybe an easier install (maybe without complete kde) would rapdily make amarok popular on windows too. Just my thoughts Just want to express kudos to the whole amarok universe.

The Windows version of Amarok is just as important to us any any other version. It's just that we don't create the builds by ourselves, but that they are created by the KDE-Windows packagers (in fact we don't create any builds by ourselves, we developers just publish the source code).

Wow the nightly build version is way different. After using it for some days I can say that it seems to be much more stable than 2.0.1. Good job.

- Last.fm-scrobbling works as well as love function.
- Cover download does not work (direct connection to internet).

where could I read what's going on?

Is there something like a blog or twitter where we can read short updates? On the main news site there aren't any infos about the windows version.
