Hi guys, I just discovered Amarok a few days ago, after I got **** of by iTunes (way to much waste of ressources) and searched for alternatives.
I was realy impressed by the features (especially the ability to display the lyrics in the player) and installed it, as described with the kdewin-installer (I'm using Windows XP).
The problem that I've got is that everytime when I want to start Amarok, Windows runs normal for a few seconds and then this error-message pops up:

amarok.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I already deleted the KDE-folder (including the applicationdata-folder) and un- and reinstalled Amarok this way, but it still won't work...
So I sadly didn't saw anything of Amarok, but the screenshots and descriptions realy convinced me so that I won't give up and hope for your help

are you using the nightly builds from the kdewin repo? or the site that is mentioned on the windows:download page?
At the moment I'm currently working on a windows installer for amarok.

I also have a problem with starting Amarock under Windows, this time Vista. I tried both running it as a normal user and as an administrator. I get the following description of the error:
