Which version did you install? There is no Media Devices plugin, if your iPod is supported it should work.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Hi, I've found same problem. The plugin probably just hasn't been installed during the installation process. I've been the linux user for some time some time ago, but now I have to run windows [7 ultimate 64bit] ... :| I remember the "media devices" section in Amarok [that was 1.4 probably, but don't remember well] settings on my Suse back then, but now in 2.8 on windows it's not even showing up. This is not a bug, so can't create a bug report, please tell what you'd like to know about to solve it [what libriaries, dlls and so on to look for, because f.e. libgpod cannot be found but I don't know if Amarok uses same libs on win as does on linux].

And my iPod is 6th classic 120G but the problem lays somewhere else I think.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, the iPod collection plug-in does not work on Windows because the underlying library, libgpod, is not currently ported to/maintained on Windows. It should be possible, but someone needs to volunteer doing it.
