Good Morning

I use the program Calibre (http://calibre-ebook.com/) to organize my e-books.
The Calibre organizes e-books, separating them by author (ex: caliber / author / book / book.pdf).

To read my e-books, use Okular (Great program, congratulations to the developers).
The problem with Okular is how and where to save the annotations that are made in the e-book, which makes it problematic to manage and share the notes of one or more e-books.
Marking pages in e-Book (bookmarks) is even more problematic.

My suggestion is that the notes and bookmarks for a particular e-book are on the same file, the folder's original e-book with the same name and the e-book file (changing the extension only).

Ex:
/ caliber / author / book / book.pdf
/ caliber / author / book / book.anot <----- file notes and bookmark the eBook.

I know there is the option to save the e-book with notes in a proprietary format Okular. But it is not practical (does not meet needs).

The above suggestion would allow easy organization and sharing of e-books with their annotations. Okular becoming one of the best or the best reader e-books.

Thank you for your attention.
Rolf Walter Ewald.

As the header in this page says, if you want to file wishes, please use bugs.kde.org for that.

If you want to keep annotations and the file together you can always use the export to okular archive option.
