Hello community:
I am an enthusiast of the linux and open source and find in Okular an excellent tool free from the hassles of all the other 'super cool' tools. I am a researcher at university and spend lots of time annotating papers, most of the times in pdf version. To do so basically I use the highlight feature but I came across with a small drawback: each time you highlight, lets say two different words, you need to go to the highlight icon and click again and again. This is not a big deal for a few comments but moving the mouse up and down from the icon to the phrase in long works gets a bit troublesome Is there a way to assign, let's say just a keystroke to activate highlighting (one of the mouse keys will be fantastic but I guess that's more difficult). I tried the 'Configure Shortcuts' section but no joy. Thanks very very much in advance! |

http://docs.kde.org/development/en/kdeg ... tions.html: "With a single left mouse button click on an annotation tool button you can use a tool once. If you e.g. want to highlight all important parts of a text, activate that tool permanently by double clicking on the tool button. Press the Esc key or click the tool button again to leave the permanent mode." |
