Lost Annotations

Hi,

I seem to have lost all my annotations - and have checked ~/.kde4/share/apps/okular/ but can't seem to find it

please help

Did you change anything on your computer recently? Software updates, reinstallation of the system, etc.

Maybe , but could it be because my comp shutdown suddenly due to battery dying ?
If so what can I do

If you grep the files in ~/.kde4/share/apps/okular, do any of your annotations show up in the results?
Also, could you check with other PDF files to see if their annotations have also been lost?
