Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to restart Okular in its previous state after a crash?
In fact, I use a raspberry for showing a pdf in presentation mode but from time to time, Okular crashes. In order to correct this, I created a small script restart.sh :
Code: Select all
    #!/bin/bash
    while true; do
      ps --no-headers -C okular || okular "/home/pi/Desktop/Power Point étude intemporel.pdf" --presentation
      sleep 5m
    done

It works fine, but, as you can see, it will only restart with a given file.
What I would like to do is that if I change the pdf, the script adapts itself (or with any other way ;) ) in order to restart okular with the new pdf after a crash (or a reboot).

I thank you in advance for your help,
Lat.

P.S: To be sure, I use raspbian / LXDE on a model B raspi

In general use, Okular shouldn't crash. Are you able to get a backtrace (or core file) from when it crashes?
