Hi there,

using Okular in W8.1 i did not understand how to find the intallation data in order to make it standard pdf.viewer of my system.

Maybe this is more a Windows 8.1. Question than a question of KDE, still - can anyone tell my how to manage that? Since Windows 8.1. is not showing the Okular installation under "set default programs" i´am looking for an other way to make it default pdf viewer.

I like Okular, i liked it a lot in Ubuntu but also in Windows, no other viewer is that straitforwardly designed and is that free of unnessesary functions and unessesary advertisement as well.

right click on a random pdf file
move the mouse to "open with..."
left click on "choose default program"
check the "use this program for all pdf files" thing
left click on "more options"
browse to the folder where "okular.exe" is

if Windows 8.1 64 bit :
C:\Program Files (x86)\KDE\bin\okular.exe
if Windows 8.1 32 bit :
C:\Program Files\KDE\bin\okular.exe

So, did it work?
