Let tools selected after usage

Tue Nov 03, 2015 7:46 am
Dear folks,

I use Okular on Ubuntu and think it is the best PDF programme available because I have to highlight and annotate a lot of texts due to my studies. Nevertheless, one thing bothers me all the time. Everytime, I use a tool it deselected after usage. Is there any possibility to let tools selected? I mean it's no big effort but somehow annoying and interrupts my reading flow.

Thank you very much!

Quoting https://docs.kde.org/stable4/en/kdegrap ... tions.html

"With a single left mouse button click on an annotation tool button you can use a tool once. If you e.g. want to highlight all important parts of a text, activate that tool permanently by double clicking on the tool button. Press the Esc key or click the tool button again to leave the permanent mode."
