Since I upgraded debian jessie to debian stretch, when I want to save a document okular is missing the locations in the sidebar panel, only proposes devices and a shortcut out of nowhere to a very specific folder I don't remember putting there and is not in dolphin.

I'm expecting to find the same locations I have in dolphin as I'm used to. Is there a way to achieve this ?

The version of Okular in Debian Stretch is based on kdelibs 4.x (Qt4), while the version of Dolphin, Plasma and other programs by KDE is based on Qt5. The configuration of the dialog box is in different places, so I don't think you can have them synchronized automatically. You should be able to change the location in the file dialogs opened by Okular, though.

I see. This is a debian packaging issue then. I'll report the issue there.

No, it's not a packaging issue. And it's not possible to change the Okular version in a stable version of Debian. There is no bug to report.
