I feel your pain, but reading https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=387882 probably a patch adding something like that will get rejected.

Currently your only option is "Settings → Full Screen Mode" and manually adapting the interface each time, i.e. hiding the navigation panel with F7. The page bar at the bottom can be hidden under the settings menu too, you could even assign a custom shortcut.

Alternatively, try searching for ways to convert your document into a PDF with 2 pages per sheet, e.g. "pdfnup".

Don't know, they have this fixed with a patch, sort of, but later the issue came back again. The only solution for this I found for myself is to split the pages into one in such cases. Kind of hit-or-miss and wouldn't fit everyone, I'm sure, but to me, it is a real thing as well as it's quite easy to do if you have the editor purchased https://4000a-125-2-form.pdffiller.com/ just upload two of those and split them into one

Thanks for this answer. I'll need to try it. Splitting .pdf's isn't really an option with sheet music. The trend is towards wider less tall screens. It seems rather obvious that it is needed. I don't know why the developers appear to be so stubborn. Apparently they don't know anything about piano performance and page turning, worse yet they seem very unwilling to learn. It's very much like when Shuttleworth was pushing "Unity" and refused to address users concerns. He ate it in the end. People didn't like the interface, and he had to give it up.
