Hello,
Please forgive my complete and total noobness here, but I have been trying to figure out for quite some time how to upgrade Okular 0.24.2 to the current release, which, I guess, is 1.4 (I'm using Linux Mint Cinnamon 18.1). 0.24.2 is all that's available to me from the official Mint repository; is there perhaps a PPA somewhere that has a more up to date version? I'm more than a little confused by Okular's download page and version numbers.

Anyway, any assistance on upgrading would be much appreciated!

HH

*Update: A kind soul on the Linux Mint forums directed me to flatpak, from whence I was able to install the most up to date version of Okular (1.41), which should have occurred to me before . . . except that it didn't. Anyway, I was able to get it to work even though I'm only running 18.1. ^-^ Yay me.

**Further update: Ok, well, without going into too much detail, getting Okular 1.41 from flatpak didn't work out too well for various reasons. I'm hopeful that there's a PPA out there somewhere that has the most up to date version of Okular in it . . . ?

**Further further update: added ppa:kubuntu-ppa/ppa repository to discover that this would only take me to 0.25. I want 1.4! :(
