Auto Save Annotations in Ubuntu 18.04

Thu Sep 27, 2018 12:14 am
Hey,

I love Okular and it has been my primary reader for the past one year. Unfortunately, over the past year I was on Ubuntu 14 where my pdf annotations were automaticallly saved. I recently formated my computer and installed the latest Ubuntu with Okular 1.3.3 and it seems this version does not autosave annotations. Somehow, I remember in my previous setup having an okular folder in my home where i found my annotations. Now it seems the annotations sit in .local/share/okular. Is there a way to autosave annotations while reading and doing reviews or does one have to save once done? Seems several forums say auto-save should still work but cannot figure out why it is not working now. Any ideas?
