Folks,
I have libqt5texttospeech5 and Jovie and Kmouth installed. I added qtspeech5-flite-plugin and qtspeech5-speechd-plugin - no change I then added espeak and associated data files, selected some reference PDF text and chose the speak option...and to my great surprise it worked. Any tips to help me move beyond trial and error? Earlier in viewtopic.php?f=251&t=153031 I asked the question for an earlier Okular release under earlier Qt and Neon. 
Neon Plasma 5.20 User on 1 desktop and on Asus Transformer 3 Pro laptop. Win10 in VirtualBox for JMP stat package. Still 5.19 on older desktop.
