Hello everyone! Hopefully Devs see this message as it is catered to you,
I have been using your windows 10 version of Okular from the Microsoft store. I use it almost every day for medical school and want to give a big thank you for making a no BS, solid PDF editor and reader! Really makes my day knowing I have no bloatware from Okular, and how flexible it is to customize your layout. That being said, I just wanted to gauge what the support for the program is? Is it going to continue to see consistent updates and patches for Windows? I intend to use this software for the remainder of my scholarly career and wanted to make sure that this program is going to be well maintained. Thanks! |

You can expect Okular to be well supported by the KDE community - a large community of volunteers from across the globe who are invested in the success of free software.
Okular is a core component of the KDE Applications suite, which are updated and released on a periodic schedule.

very likely if there are enough volunteers to work on it. It's always a question of available time.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
