I'm surely being dumb but I can't work out how to do this.

I have made annotations on a document using the "highlight" tool, including typing comments in the pop-up text box. I now want to print the document, with the comments included—preferably in the margin, but as endnotes would be fine. Ticking the "print annotations" box in the print dialogue prints the highlights, but not the associated text comments. How can I get the text comments to print?
