I've always had an issue with my printer cutting off text at the margins. The "fit to printable area" option doesn't fix this. After running
everything seems to print correctly when I print by command line using lp. However, when I print with Okular the margins are still cut off. Is there any way to fix this? Checking cups logs, when I print with Okular it converts the PDF file to PS and uses the pstops filter, while when I print with lp it uses the pdftopdf filter, so I suspect this may be the issue. For the time being I'll probably just use lp when I need to print something with narrow margins. Luckily most of the PDF files that I print are LaTeXed documents with wide margins. |
