Margins cut off when printing with Okular

I've always had an issue with my printer cutting off text at the margins. The "fit to printable area" option doesn't fix this. After running
Code: Select all
lpadmin -p printer -o fit-to-page-default=true

everything seems to print correctly when I print by command line using lp. However, when I print with Okular the margins are still cut off. Is there any way to fix this? Checking cups logs, when I print with Okular it converts the PDF file to PS and uses the pstops filter, while when I print with lp it uses the pdftopdf filter, so I suspect this may be the issue.

For the time being I'll probably just use lp when I need to print something with narrow margins. Luckily most of the PDF files that I print are LaTeXed documents with wide margins.
