Enable F2 to Rename Documents

Sun May 22, 2022 6:35 pm
Hello,

my first posting here - was always reading but this time I thought I'd suggest some enhancement >:D

I use Gwenview for my quick needs regarding pictures... I have plenty of pictures from my phone and also scans.

This one function of Gwenview is particularly very useful:

RENAMING
You just press F2 (like in so many programs and filemanagers) and edit the name.

Well, considering all the misnamed PDFs I have (and also scans) such function would be extremely handy. Imagine you are stuck in a folder with many, many PDFs where it gets hard to remember that particular file and its new to-be name.

Wouldn't that be useful for others, too?

Take a good look, children. It will prepare you for your adult lives in our nightmarish corporate system.
