Dear all,
I'm using Okular 1.3.3 that I installed on my Linux Mint 19 (Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS) with aptitude. I'm a mathematician and use LaTeX extensively for beamer presentations. I'd like to insert animations (sequence of image or videos) into my slides, which the package "animate" supports. Okular is supposedly one of the few PDF readers that can read these animations, but it doesn't work whatsoever for me. For example, take this animated presentation: https://texample.net/media/tikz/example ... tegral.pdf I get the message "The document requested to be launched in presentation mode. Do you want to allow it?" at the beginning, then the image is completely static and the buttons do not respond. Reinstalling Okular did not solve the problem. Do you have an intuition of what's going on? Thanks, Charlie |
