Hi,
I'm not sure if this feature has disappeared with kde4 or if I just haven't worked it out yet ![]() Use case: I have a bunch of PDF files open that I have openned directly from internet links. For some reason (eg upgrade) I need to log out. In kde3, logging back in would magically restore all the previously open PDF files - because kpdf was launched with the URL of the file. In KDE4 I have noticed that okular gets launched with the name of the temporary file that was downloaded. This typicall fails to re-open because it was cleaned up. So I have to go and find all those documents again. The convienience of this session restore feature on 3.5 was a *big* plus for me and I find myself lamenting its loss on KDE 4. Is there a way to get it back? Thanks.

This is actually a bug in Okular's association to files, since using one particular expander will indicate to KDE it can handle KIO, and another one indicates it can't. Please file a bug report ( if it doesn't already exist ) at bugs.kde.org
