I've recently been using LilyPond for typesetting musical scores and apparently there is a feature that turns each notehead into a hyperlink in the PDF. When clicking this hyperlink, depending on the $EDITOR variable it will open a text editor or will edit through a web browser specific application.
The details are here: http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.11/Documenta ... -and-click My $EDITOR value is /usr/bin/vim. My $LYEDITOR is blank. My noteheads in the PDF are clickable (as in my mouse changes when moving over it into the clicking type) but clicking them does nothing. Any ideas how to make this work in Okular?

You need to change the default browser used by KDE unfortunately to the script they specify, which can be done in System Settings.

How can I embed a hyperlink into a message? I would like to edit my signature on a forum and place a hyperlink to a thread in it. I was wondering, how do people embed hyperlinks into a message and then rename it, so that you simply click on a word and it'll take you to another web page. I would very much appreciate any replies to this question that explain exactly what I need to do, step-by-step.

@facklera: This board uses BBCode to allow you to do this. Example:
[ url =http://www.google.com ]Google[ /url ] Remove the spacing in it to make it work.
