okular change fonts from serif to sans serif

I'm viewing a PDF document with Okular. The embedded fonts make the text difficult to read for me. The fonts are serif. Is it possible to change the fonts to sans serif? I've looked at the Okular manual, Settings, and googled. It seems it might be possible, but I haven't found a way in Okular.
