Hi,
I just read that the latest Evince document viewer has full annotation support. Read and write annotations directly into the PDF so that for example Acrobat Reader can show an annotation made with Evince. For Okular I know that annotations get saved to an extra file. So it's not really portable, not even between to Okular readers on two different computers (unless you copy the annotation file together with the PDF). But I couldn't find any up to date information on the Okular homepage. Now that Poppler seems to support native annotations will Okular support it too? Is there any roadmap for this feature? Thanks! |
