You may need to restart CUPS for it to pick up the new font and therefore produce an accurate print preview.

If you have restarted your computer, then CUPS will have been restarted as well.

If you print the file in any case, does the barcode show up in the final printed output?

hi,

why okular can show pdf417 barcodes in pdf files (flight online tickets) correctly but kde4.7 or okular cannot print the barcode. the printed document contains everything (text) but not the barcode. the printer setting is mixed mode (graphics and text).

any idea ??

by the way, evince 2.32.0 (gnomeapp running from kde) just print out correctly, the text and barcode!

can someone help me ?

This is definitely a bug.

It occurs for me as well using openSUSE 11.4, KDE 4.6.00 and okular 0.12.
The preview shows the barcode correctly but the printing fails on the barcode and shows only the rest of the document page. I tried different printer drivers (for HP Laserjet 4L on parallel port) but the printing behavior of okular did not change. I then tried acroread 9.4.2 and it worked.

Here is a scan, left side acroread print, right side okular print:

i see, well, here the barcode (type pdf417) on a flight ticket doesn't show at all on the printed page. A bug report should be a good idea.. :)
