Hello everyone and happy new year: (sorry for my english.... again
)I just installed the new kernel that came out in the updates, and after the installation, when opening some config file .conf .log etc, it sends me the following message: Unable to write to the configuration file «/ home / * ******* / .config / katerc ». Contact the administrator of your system. I give him to accept and I will, I can even write and he asks me if I want to save the changes. Then why does this message come to me? |

I installed Gedit and with this text editor everything is fine, I do not ask for permission or send me the message to contact the system administrator. Can it be a failure of Kate?

sudo chown -R user:user /home/user/.config/katerc
Apparently the file katerc had been put as the property of root and not the user, this command solves it ... but I will continue with gedit. |
