I was using gwenview, but need more functionality & GV seems to crash often [bug reporting say not enough info]

I'm using Digikam, which has tons of cool bells & whistles, but is certainly more resource intensive
there is a export to webalbum & it does sign in to my google account
image files can be picked & prepared for export, when I click upload files, something appears to happen, the files never get there
pulling files from the webalbum side has degraded to the point, only one file at a time can be uploaded

I realize that this is most likely a G+ problem, but thought I would cover all the bases :<

Which version of KDE and Digikam do you have?

Digikam is now up to version 2.6.0, and KDE up to 4.8.2.
Google likely changed their API, so updating to a later version of KDE/Digikam could correct this issue.
